Samething happened to me. I took it to the local Chevrolet Dealership's Body Shop and the estimate was approx. $2200.00 to fix. New hood, remove and paint fenders / hood to match and a couple of other parts. I had it fixed I did not like looking at the dents on my hood.- rocnhog

Death Wobble After Decrank
My 98 4x4 had a problem with shaking and I discovered that the shock for the steering stablizer became loose from where it is bolted to the frame. I tighted it up and my problem went away.
