Update:
3 beers later and I figured it was sitting right. Looked at the old dirt marks on the plug and to see where the new one was hitting and he was about 1/4” short. Trimmed a 1/4” off the female end and all is well now. Looks great!
It’s an aftermarket light. Brand new. On the ground they work. When installed they don’t. FML lol! Went to put in the OEM lights and now they don’t work when they definitely did before.
Both lights worked as I went through unplugging and plugging in lights to try and figure it what the...
Currently living in Germany for the next 3 years, and have my 16’ Yukon XL Denali. Driver tail light started going dim and I almost didn’t pass inspection because of that. After researching it I learned that it ain’t just a bulb replacement, it’s a whole new light replacement. I couldn’t...
Been reading up on tires, and it seems Micheline Defender LTX has good reviews from people who own our vehicles. But I’ve come across some Cooper Discoverer SRX’s that have caught my eye. Watched some YouTube videos and I like them. Local shop offered some off brand and a Toyo Proxes 3 that...
Is there something like this available? Clip on style toe mirrors? I don’t want or need the truck style tow mirrors. Only needing the extra mirror for one trip as we will be renting a camp trailer and I want the extra mirror to see. Stock mirrors won’t cut it, as I couldn’t even see a tiny...
Well to me I can feel a difference in throttle response after the intake install. Also there is a nice little growl under the hood now. Not a constant growl, just when you give it something extra. It's not like a pssst sound my K&N makes on my truck. Sounds pretty damn mean ha ha, I enjoy it.
Thanks for the best deal on the net for this intake! Install was a breeze. Pretty sure it showed up in 2 days as well. Awesome!
Makes me wonder what all the extra stuff on the stock intake was for ha ha!
One step closer to getting another BB tune! This time for my Denali!
Yeah there was a certain manufacture date, I want to say 10/14 but not 100% sure on that. If it was made before then then it didn't have those options.
And the only reason why I asked is because I asked the salesman and he had to search on his phone. So I searched on my phone and found the...
Mocked up the in channel vent shades real quick because baby was hungry. I will pull the tape on them later and install them. Took with and without pictures for comparison.
Right side has the vents on, left side none.
First mod done lol! Got a nice little 1.5 hour long drive this afternoon to see if any difference can be "felt." Step 1 of 3 towards my BB tune ha ha. Muffler and tips came in. Just needing some time to head down to the shop and get them installed.
Nope! I almost fell for that when we went to go look at a 2015 Yukon XL Denali. Dealer had it marked as a 8 speed, but when we did a vin search to compare options at the other dealer it showed it was indeed a 6 speed!
The 15' also didn't have wireless charging or lift gate assist. Glad we...
One states it uses nano protective coating, and the other just says ceramic coating.
$400 isn't bad considering the size of our rides. The guy that just says ceramic coating says he would need to go through and do a thorough polishing job before any coating is applied. I'm guessing it's the...
Any of you get this done to your rides? I'm really leaning towards getting the service done. It'd make each drive out of the touchless wash even better ha ha!
I'm reading upwards of 3-4 years duration, even 5 before reapplication is needed. Asked a couple local guys who do it for a quote so...
Damn! I've always wanted lifted rides, now seeing this my thoughts have changed.
Would have to be installed at the dealer so the warranty won't be voided, but damn that looks good!
No issues here. 16' Yukon XL Denali with brand new 285/45/22 Bridgestone HL (stock) tires. People who traded in the 16' to upgrade to a 17' kept the old wheel and tire setup to put on the 17', and the new wheels and tires from the 17' were put on the 16'. It's a real pleasure to drive.
My childhood best friend who was visiting me when we went to go look at the Denali told me, "I've seen all your trucks with chrome tips, and not one have I seen you clean regularly. Get black tips."
Acting like he knows who I am or something lol! I just ordered some black tips though ha ha!
I never did like the look of white light, especially yellow'ish light. I've always enjoyed to way 6000k lights look as a vehicle driving the opposite direction and behind the wheel of one with them installed. To me it's not as "blue" as everyone makes them out to be.
Intake came in from Blackbear.
Called the exhaust shop and they do not stock the muffler I wanted so it got ordered today from Summit. Still don't know if I want to go with a chrome or black exhaust tip.
I called the place where I got my LED's from and they have shipped the missing lights...
