Well you might have a couple dead cells in the battery which sounds more likely becuase if your driveing it during the day it will stay charged meaning that your chargeing system is working adequitley so the battery will stay hot and then after it cvools down its dead so even if it checked good...
Also you should clean your injectors they have cans that you hook up and run it til the cans empty. you just hook it inline and disconnect your fuel line simple takes about 20 minutes.
I do believe there is a wire that is for the radio on. no its the green and white wire which is the remote playback i do believe that might be it one of those should do itand there is a purple wire too its a control wire and then there is black and white wire for the on signal and also dark...

well i have a 15 inch in an enclosure with a pioneer amp 500 watts and it rocks and you can hear me for a good distance with factory head unit with different door speakers but my sub box is pretty big
Are you useig factory amp also? I am hveing similar problems i got the speakers to work but i put in another amp of my own and cant get it to work it turns on but thts it i put it on the bench and it works. So you might be haveing a power problem like me not enough power to run the other amps...
have you,checked your grounds, or maybe your plugs for your radio etc.

You have to add an amp if you are upgradeing your existing sub those things are garbage.What iam triing to do is build a similar box size and shape which has been an adventure becuase i need it out of the way due to kids and wife use it so i put in dvd player in dash then i put in new amp...

sounds like it is for accessory battery to me so if it is you should be able to run amp on it did you trace the terminals and see where they go
did you check your T.P.S also known as throttle position sensor, or map and or maf sensor and could be a sensor in transmission and check vacuum lines for leaks you can use a can of carb cleaner to check those just spray around the lines with engine running and if it stumbles you have a leak...
not sure what type vehicle you have but you might check your connections at your instrument cluster if it has a connector that plugs into it or where the cluster plugs into a plug when inserted to where it goes and also your stereo not sure on that iether but those are good starting points hope...
