    Best lift kit?

The cognito doesn't seem to come with anything to extend my strut. I really like the way that Fabtech does that. Any comments on Fabtech?

    Best lift kit?

Want to go 4-6" lift. I've lifted many vehicles in my time and am soooo tired of getting it all done and then a year later learning the hard way of the lift's shortcomings. And what really sucks is the 'better' lift is usually only 10% more costs. I would gladly spend a little more to get it...

Stuffed 35 12.5's with only 2.5/1 spacer lift

No problem. Where exactly would you like me to measure from and to?

Stuffed 35 12.5's with only 2.5/1 spacer lift

I'm lucky enough to have the factory 4.10's so it's not bad at all. Lost a little spunk for sure but going to turbo it anyway. I got the Spohn adjustable rear control arms that I'll put on in the next week or two. Assuming I can space the rear axle back 0.5-1.0" then trimming plastic to the...

Stuffed 35 12.5's with only 2.5/1 spacer lift

And now for the semi- recant. With my aggressive trimming I've got no rubbing in normal street driving, around corners, over speed bumps and intersections. BUT yesterday I took it out offroading. When going up and down steep grades with big ruts that really flex out the suspension, the rear...

Stuffed 35 12.5's with only 2.5/1 spacer lift

With the +12mm offset on my 9" wheels and 305 tires I have a nice little clearance to the sway bar at full turn. Inboard clearancing all we had to do was cut out a bunch of the plastic inner fender well. All the toughest parts were the outer corners of the front tires when turning. If someone...

Stuffed 35 12.5's with only 2.5/1 spacer lift

Today I was able to trim, trim, trim and trim some more to fit 305/70-18's Cooper STT mud terrain tires. These measure a full 35x12.5, even a hair bigger than most actual 35x12.5's. My Tahoe only has 2.5/1.5" spring spacer type lift. Just want everyone to know it is possible with the right wheel...

    some tire advice

Ordered my wheels today with +12mm offset. Then will be getting 35x12.5 tires on them. My plan is to try to cut enough clearance for them to fit with just my 2.5/1.5 lift. But if there is just no way it's going to happen then I'll lift it more. 2" body lift is looking pretty good.

    some tire advice

Thanks. That's great info. So I've seen mention of fitting 35's on 2.5/1.5 lift with 'a lot of cutting'. Has anyone actually done it? If the major clearance problem is the front fender, then would an aftermarket tube bumper totally fix that? I really really really want to stuff 35 12.5's in...

    some tire advice

01Konvict, I've seen a lot of your posts about tire widths and what rubs. If you are going aftermarket wheels with zero offset, that will give you the best possibility of fitting taller 305's right? Any more negative or positive gives problems with width? I have a 2.5/1.5 on my 07 and want to...
