I need this part too. Anybody know where to get one other than boneyard? Chevy SUVs in salvage yard around here are scarce! Plenty of blue ovals though....:p
My 2006 Suburban never did have sufficient oil pressure to suit me. It got to where the most i could get under acceleration was around 40. Also, it began to drop to 0 at a light every so often. Put it in park and rev the engine to oil pressure up. Around town i never got any lifter noise but on...
You can purchase gauge cluster from O'riellys for around $200.00. They will order Dorman unit and you pay when it arrives. About 2-3 days. It will be a refurbished unit with all new bulbs and stepper motors. You will need to provide vin# and mileage (within 200). Finding a tahoe/sub/silverado...
I'm having a hard time finding the replacement mirror glass for 06 sub.
Mounting plate is different...not sure why. I Can't Seem to find the smaller type of mounting ring. I don't want to purchase the whole mirror. What is going on??
Thanks Foss! I will definitely pick it up and get it painted.
Btw..your Tahoe looks really nice! Love the wheels. TBSS? Are they larger? I had an 07 TBSS and I thought the wheels were 20''. Yours look like 22"?
I like 'em!
Need help please. I'm looking to do an HD hood on my '06 Sub. I found a hood supposedly for a 2001-2002 silverado 2500/3500. The part number they are telling me is GM1230330. I have read on here that part number is 15745931?
Did the part number change? Will the 1230330 work?
I have heard that the sending units are known to go bad. Supposed to be easy fix for less than 50 bucks if DIY. Napa or Autozone. Located back of block on drivers side I believe?

I want to upgrade my 06 LT with in-dash navigation. My suburban has stock cd/xm radio w/Bose speakers. I have seen 06 LTZ suburbans with the factory navi but from what I have read I should stay away from them. Im not really wanting to have to use a disc while using it. Should I go aftermarket...
