    Sorry I wasn't little more clear but yes. People say it will cause oil leaks etc....all I know is my dad has 340,000 on his hoe but he used it from day 1. I was actually thinking the same thing. Might do a blend for a couple of changes. Thanks.

    Took out my alpine and put in Dynaudio coponents. Also moved tweeter out of apillar down to the mid. Sounds much better. The mid is attached through the door panel to the door itself using angled brackets and spacer I made.

    I think we narrowed it down a little which is good. Please update me when you find out. Check that forum out and be as thorough as you can. Amps what speakers with the signal sources and that you have static on all speakers but some more that others. Good luck!!

Run a new wire(not buried under carpet) just lay the wire across the carpet on top of the seat shortest distance...

    Bleeding Brakes

    Just did my brakes 2 weeks ago. Tried old school on the fronts but could not get all the air out. Due to my limited knowledge had to drop 75 bucks to bleed the whole system. Luckily it was 75 bucks well spent. Brakes feel solid once again.

    Just fired everything back up and can't believe what I was missing. Great vocals mid bass. Sounds so much bette . Glad I didn't buy anymore speakers. It would not have made a bit of difference. Wow.

    Well. Wasn't real happy with the coponents I put in. Going to sound proof the doors today. Here's the first shot. I'll post updates as I go along. I have the inner skin done and closing the gaps on the outer skin with sheet metal.

    Thanks. I thought if I ever changed my system I would regret it. But that is really is the best place for amps in theses vehicles. How many amps you installing in your tahoe?? Have you priced a new panel yet?
