Tahoe will not interchange with a pickup. Only a suburban will. I’m in Oklahoma and have a good grey bench if interested In figuring out how to make it work. I’ve already converted mine but I would work something out for a spare set.
All the same mounting points except for long vs short wheelbase. Like tahoe and suburban are different due to the hump in the floor pan. Yukon xl and Yukon shorty. Same with Escalade. If it’s the long version you just need a bench out of a long Escalade, suburban, or Yukon xl and it’ll bolt...
I’ll get a picture, all the rear seats bench and buckets have them so when the seat is folded flat it covers the gap. It’s spring loaded and bolts to the seat base on the bottom.
Bolts are the same, headrest are the same I believe as well. Be sure to get the trim pieces. The inner trim and rear flaps for the back of the seats is almost impossible to find alone. Other than that you’ll love the swap
The Silverado had a dark grey almost black. Started in late 99…hard to find in decent shape now days but they’re out there. 4 door Silverado will bolt up in suburban (rear seat) but not in a hoe due to the floor. Fronts are interchangeable however.
They’re identical to the front seats. What I’ve seen with them is the stop will come outside of the track so to speak and just need to pop the clip out and get the arm rest back inside the track. Just be very careful because that clip is super easy to lose
First off search function does wonders on this subject…second off it’s not a fuse clearly if the lights come on with the switch, if the light come on then it’s not the switch which you would find with the search. So third off search would also tell you to try back heat only function. If it stays...
You’re talking 3-4 different seat styles in this post. 01-02 Yukon, 01-02 Yukon Denali, 01-02 tahoe/suburban, and then 03-06 all seats were practically the same. To me I like the 03-06 best but I also like the 01-02 tahoe/suburban style too but it’s more like sitting on a couch than 03-06 is...
I’ve seen several z71 packages like this. A z71 was actually below an LT3 inside. They were standard as an LT1 I believe which was no heated seats, no full power passenger and driver, and no memory buttons on door panel. Any one item could be added or taken alway as well such as disk changer...
In the glove box there’s a 3 digit code. The 3 digit code will stand alone and will be on the bottom of the sticker that is closest to you when you open the glove box.

Does it slip out? If so the clip is missing on the back side. If it still has the clip there the little dowel that stops it is likely broken off the seat frame
Not one to ask many questions on here but I’m at a loss. 2004 tahoe, 221k I’ve had it the last 30k. Bought it needing a lifter, was just starting to tick. Got it home and replaced cam and all lifters. Running great and suddenly had a slight tick at rear bottom of engine. Only does it when warm...
Love that mat, the xl has different seat bases due to the hump in the shorter version like tahoe or non xl. That makes the trim different. I appreciate the pics though and tip on the mat!
Can some share pictures of the plastic trim that covers the inside brackets (in the walkway area) on 2nd row bucket seats? Just did the swap but no trim when I bought them. It shows the cutouts in the carpet without and drives me insane. Any recommendations on where to find it in grey as I’ve...
