Not yet been dealing with alot of medical stuff last couple of months. Probably gonna throw another set of spohn arms on it to keep it drivable till spring and hopefully I will be healthy enough to work on it then
Another option to look at for rear springs is skyjacker c25r they're for 2.5 inch rear lift over a non z71 stock height. I have the 5 inch lift version skyjacker springs in my suburban and always have atleast 500 pounds of tools in the way back and it handles the weight. Some people also use...
I have used these springs but not with bags. Problem with bags is most are short. There's a set for use with stock springs in our trucks but they would be too short with lift springs. You'll need to install the springs and measure there length at ride height unloaded and find a set around that...
As the suspension cycles up and down the axle end of the panhard moves in a arc that arc causes axle to move side to side as it goes up and down. The panhards are made to the length needed to center the axle at stock ride height. So when the truck is raised from stock height or lowered the axle...
Either taller springs or spring spacers will require longer sway links. Look for jeep jk rear sway links with the amount of lift you have. Synergy sway links are what I have in mine they are adjustable so you can set it to exactly length you need. Also will need to get a panhard frame end drop...
The 6 inch lift has lift knuckles that have a reangled ball joint mount designed to work with stock uca. using lift uca with lift knuckles can put ball joint at bad angles you will need a stock height style uca
You won't need the cv spacers with the 2008 cv axles.
For rear skyjacker c25r springs give 2.5 inch lift or skyjacker c50r give 5 inch lift
Even with the c50r you will still squat some compared to the 6 inch lift
Will need longer shocks and sway links to go with any rear lift and either a...
It's hard to predict how much lift you will end up with till parts are installed every vehicle is different. 2.5 rear springs sounded perfect match for 3.5 front when I did it till I got done and it was squatted. Luckily for mine the c50r 5 inch springs leveled it perfectly. The next lift I'm...
Skyjacker c25r are a 2.5 inch rear lift spring. Longer shocks are easy to find. Jeep jk rear sway links work in rear 2 inch lift jeep works with 2-3 inch lift tahoe. front sway links if I remember correctly 2500/3500 sway links work with 2‐3 inch lift double check that its been long time since i...
Took a look at the panhard there's 48 inch from inside of shock to inside of shock so can't make it longer than 44 inches bolt center to bolt center. current panhard is about 34 inches so that's 10 inches longer. Mine is also angled almost 25-30° at ride height currently the frame mount is...
I would use something like these 3ft 2 inch od 1.5 id 0.25 wall tube for the links

I tightened them as much as I could before installing them. And added washers to bolts because thats what everyone said to do.
The long arms should be a relatively easy project. Stock upper arms are approximately 17 inch bolt center to bolt center lowers are 22 inch.
lowers are directly...
Another thing I keep going back and forth on is just ditching the spohn arms completely and finally doing the long arm upgrade now. I gotta replace all the heims and I crushed the driver side lower arm frame mount on a boulder couple months ago that needs cut off and replaced so making new...
Blew the rear axle last week and while swapping in the new axle I realized every single delsphere joint in the spohn arms is worn out 2 of them the collars unscrewed themselves. the rest the collars are tight still but the white plastics are worn out. I could just replace the 2 that came undone...
What person are you referring to in beginning?
The 7 inch kit uses a 6 inch rear lift springs and rear control arm drop brackets. there 5 inch kit has 4 inch lift springs no control arm drop brackets. That's why I'm going with the 7 inch kit even though I only plan to lift the front 5...
The front will be going up another 1.5-2 inches taller. I already have 5 inch lift springs in rear to have it sit Level with the current 3.5 front lift suspension. I would need a 7 inch lift spring to keep it level and as far as I can tell no one sells any, unless I custom order new springs...
Has anyone ever removed the stock rear coil spring and replaced the rear shocks with a set of coilovers? I have been trying to find any info i can on it but all that comes up is front coilover kits.
I currently have rough country 3.5 knuckle lift for gm 1500 trucks in front, 5 inch rear lift...
Most lift kits have you cut off the droop stop completely. If you do I recommend plating and reinforcing the upper control arm mounts gm made them out of way to thin of metal. Thats why gm trucks lose alignment easily. I plated mine with 1/8th inch plate to stiffen them.
I gotta pull all the tools out tomorrow morning before I leave so i can carry some furniture. I will grab a measurement while she is empty and let you know tomorrow
On road spacers generally will ride and handle similarly. Offroad spacer sometimes can move around and make noises or even pop out if you're driving aggressive enough. Also you will have more flex and articulation offroad with longer springs. If your trucks mostly on pavement spacers are a great...
Definitely curious about ways to move mine. I have a 97 tahoe tank sitting it has spot for 2 pumps but I don't remember a spot for a sensor it is shorter body and doesn't look like it would take much trimming of core support sheetmetal and battery tray to get its neck to come up infront of left...
