Been searching all day for good info... looking for a switched power source up in the dash area for a dash cam, and other doo-dads. All are low power, a few hundred mA at most.
On the 2021-2023 Tahoe platform is there an MBEC or other tappable source?
Long story short, did all my maintenance for 58 years, fell and shoulder is toast. How hard is it going to be for me to get under and replace these 4 lines? No lift, just driveway and jacks. They are not dripping on the floor, but the rubber is coated on the "hot" lines from end to end. 2015...
2016 Tahoe has been incredible. 29.7 MPG/25 mile average; 29.3/50 mile average. Sweet spot was at 68 MPH on a late spring day. It was still climbing, but I ran out of interstate. I get 25.5 MPG day in and day out on the interstate.
Very thankful for the wisdom on this web site! Got mine repaired at the dealer this morning, and I think I understand what is happening a little better. Note that some of this is conjecture. (I'm a EE that did spacecraft power systems for 35 years)

Finally driving mine enough at night to pick up a pattern in the flashes. Taking it to the dealer tomorrow. I am getting close to the 36,000 mile limit; so specific direction on an effective repair is appreciated.
