I had a similar issue with mine but not as bad.... going off of memory from months ago... I think the housing sorta floats so to say behind the bumper right? I used a firm hand and just forced the housing where I wanted it and it stayed in place... I am certain there is a break point though so...
There was some wiring harness issues (other wires that go through the exterior to the hatch) that prevented me from doing a 100% centered installation. Like I said most wouldn't notice its not centered...

I have succesfully formatted a 1TB SSD (samsung T3) in Fat32,, (from my Windows PC) then coppied all of my movies to it. Plays just fine in the rear USB. I also created subfolders for Kids, Adults, ect to shorten the searching through a lot of movies. My folders look like this...
I took a sharp plastic pry tool and pulled the rubber charging pad off,, flipped it 180 and pressed it back in. Its working but its not as good as it was with my S6. You still have to find the sweet spot but once I found it... I can hit it every time without issue. Will post some pics...
Would someone mind breaking down the step by step on removing the module from the center console of the 2016 Yukon Denali? I want to try and add an internal USB port to run into the storage area. I have formatted a 1TB drive for storage of movies that play great on the rear overhead screen...
Ok bad news for you Denali owners... guess I should have seen/connected the dots... the bulbs I ordered for the low beams.. (H11) do not fit the 2016 yukon Denali low beams. The Denali has HIDs with D3S 4 pin green connectors. I called Putco and they said they don't make one for my vehicle. I...

Yes the Denali has the OSRAM Xenarc 66340HBI 35W D3S HIDs. The are 4500K so just a little bit more yellow in color but def looks good with the new LED fogs at 6500K. pretty close in color. That said,, ,the high beams are old school halogens and very yellow.
I really didn't need to change the...
Thats funny I had the same idea.. .my box was all white with a magnetic flap lid. Only sticker was on the side that was like a barcode and a brief description. No Putco markings on the box or lights. I thought same and was a knockoff.. so I called Putco and talked to a lady. She asked me to...
I ordered mine today thru amazon for $157.93 will be driving to Wisconsin from Houston so will come in handy on the dark roads.. Almost hit a deer last xmas around Texarkana. Let me know if anyone has the 15 or 16 yukon Denali and can tell me if the fog lights have any space between the lens...
