    Thank you, I have never replaced those sensors I did clean and oil the air filter not to long ago. I cleaned the MAF when I did the filter I guess I will clean it again. I always say go back to the last thing you touched... That would be the air filter...

    With stock tires I would agree that gearing works fine. I am hoping your comparison of your 5.3 is with 35 tires other wise there is no point to your question. My rig is not a street queen and gets some pretty hard off road use and gearing makes a big difference. But, to answer your question...

    Well I wont debate the issue of VVT... I turned it off 50,000 miles ago so I don't think it is related to my problem.. If you have any ideas or things to look for relating to my problem that would be great...

    I personally never tried that combination.. So someone else might be better to answer that question. 3.42 with 34.5 inch tires does not work well at all.

    It was a torque converter... Replaced it with a billet TC and tore down the trans to inspect and clean it out also changed some springs in the valve body to improve shifting... Cost me $2864.

    As @Doubeleive Said the rear defroster does not affect it.. Mine has been disconnected for years and the remote start works fine.

    I acquired the transfer case and TCCM from the same vehicle and installed them and a new switch in the dash. I did not program anything. It was a simple plug and play with no problems.

    I ran Ranchos they lasted about 4 years.. They work pretty good but, Kings work much better and they are rebuild-able too.

    When any of my ball joints go out I just replace all 4 upper and lower control arms at one time. I do beat mine up off road and do not want to break anything when in the wilderness.
