Looking to buy a Tahoe. Which is the better scenario?
My 2 cents as someone who owns and repairs tahoes I prefer the 3lt. Pretty close to ltz luxury with out the ridiculously expensive to repair suspension. The iron block 5.3s seem to hold up better, mine just hit 260k miles with just the afm turned off. The flex fuel fuel pumps seem to hold up...- Classehoe

Finished Recent Top end work, few issues remain
Sorry didn't pay attention to which section I was in. Low oil pressure at idle is pretty much a weak pump or some sort of excess leak such as drawing in air on the pickup, loose bearing clearance, or a leaking oil passage.- Classehoe

I would suspect the vlom is leaking or the oil pump pickup tube o-ring is wrong/leaking.- Classehoe
