HELP REPLACING VALVE LIFTERS, VLOM & CAMSHAFT PLEASE.
I just dont know what to fix. It will run perfectly fine if i let it sit overnight. I can take short drives around but after about 30-45 minutes of driving is when it will misfire with a blinking CEL. This only happens after driving around for a few minutes.- Oldman1985

Thats cool man wish I knew more but alI I do is maintenance work on cars lol. I wouldnt know where to start. Also im stuck in an upside down loan. Thank you this is my first time in a forum of any kind ever because my head is just spinning everyday. I dont know if i want to keep the truck and repair if the build is already going to be nothing but trouble in the future or just let it go.- Oldman1985

Yes thank you it sounds just like that but only when the blinking check engine light / service stabilitrak and service traction control lights come on flashing. When all the lights are cleared it goes back to a smooth idle engine with no problems.- Oldman1985

Thank you. Yes the flapping noise only happens when the stabilitrak service and traction control service with the check engine light blinking comes on. When its only the check engine light on (without blinking) it drives fine. The flap seems to go faster as i gas it. Basically the flap sound...- Oldman1985
