So another question..sorry to be high jacking the thread, but what are you guys doing as far as a break in procedure? Are we doing it? And if so, what kind of oil and lube do you guys recommend for reassembly and the break in period?- Juan83

Its a 2007 and it is 4x4. As far as I can tell everything is good except for the dead lifter on cylinder 4. Seems to be a common problem. My main thing right now is getting quality replacements with the most bang for the buck. I'm hearing BTR or TSP is the way to go for the cam. Its going to be...- Juan83

So I finally got my first Tahoe with a 5.3 in it. I purchased it with a dead lifter, so my idea was to make some minor upgrades for added gitty up while I’m in there replacing the lifter.
