I replaced just the motors on both sides from used mirrors found on Marketplace. I found it easiest and fastest to disassemble mine and the donors and swap motors so I ensure I retain all the OEM functionality of my original mirrors.
Mine clips on over the OEM mirror and looks fine on the inside. I retain all the mirror functions, but now have a full time recording rear camera view. It’s great when my cargo is floor to ceiling.
I did this in the passenger wheel well below and forward of the battery so cable routing was short. Took about 20 minutes. Since we work at home, sometimes the Suburban sits for over a week, and with all the cameras and stuff charging inside, it can run down the battery. I used to pop the hood...
Hi everyone,
Does the 2013 Suburban retain the wiring for the rear seat fold function at the overhead console? I found this one from a 07 and was thinking about swapping it into my 13. Thanks!

Forgive the dirty hatch, but here are shots of the left and right bottom corners of the glass. The left side has a much bigger panel gap than the right.
It’s an interesting hinge assembly. But I don’t see any way of adjusting the glass position.
I found this online, but I’m not sure what slots they’re referring to.

I was rear ended in a parking lot a couple years ago with minor damage to the corner of the liftgate and left light assembly. The liftgate is new but the glass is probably original. I never noticed the misalignment til this weekend.
I just noticed my liftglass isn’t centered on the liftgate. It’s not a big deal, but now I can’t unsee it. Is there any way to make left/right adjustments on just the glass? Thanks!
I put my full-time mirror camera behind the glass mounted as close as possible to the glass to minimize glare. I ran the wire under the headliner to the mirror. Functions basically like the newer trucks with camera mirrors. I do have the OEM back up camera also, and picture quality doesn’t...
Hi everyone,
is it normal for the rear wiper to not contact the glass at the apex of the arc, around from 2:00 to 10:00 position? Not a big deal, but kind of annoying.
‘13 Suburban.
Thanks!

Anyone try these?

This is what I used for my ‘13 LTZ. Took a couple tries to figure out where to position it at each wheel, but once I figured it out, it worked fine.

I would imagine they would fit as long as there are holes in the bumper to the frame. Some Escalades don’t. The push bar might not contour to the bumper profile since bumpers are slightly different, but there seems to be plenty of clearance on mine.
This is a Go Rhino with a 20” light bar. I like this model since it has upper support brackets and not just the lower brackets. The trade off is you lose the tow hooks.
