Thanks, yeah, in 2000 (and 1999 for the trucks) for the LS engines they made the TC deeper and the bellhousing too, and added an extra bolt hole in the top of the belllhousing. I am rebuilding my transmission and got a kit with the Alto 3-4 clutch powerpack. The instructions differentiate between late and early model V8's. I know this is a noob question, but would my 1999 5.7 Vortec engine be considered a late or early model V8 for the purposes of this rebuild...- stewharr
