    iput 6 in mine and i have 128k on it. i loose about a 1/4 of a quart between oil changes. chevy tells you only 6qts and to use only 5/30 weight.

    Weird noise?? Alittle Help possibly on problem

    i had what sounds like the same issue. it was in the rear on the driver side. it is the inside emergence brake shoe. I thought it was the backing plate. I litterally cut the backing plate off. Then i found out from a friend that it is the emergency brake. put new shoes in. the noise stopped.

    rear brakes

    Are you using GM parts??? I know that cheap after market stuff generally does not work that well. I have used aftermarket brake pads and had nothing but issues on the rear of my 02. I have changed them out to actual GM parts from the dealer and it has stopped.

    Vibration sounds like its u joints. how many miles do you have on it? I have 124 on my 02 tahoe and i have not switched out the u joints yet. they seem to be holding together.
