    What year is best if money is an object

    I had a Denali, 6.2 six speed, but it hadn't been loved. So I dumped it. Bought a Tahoe 5.3 with 3.42 gears and it towed far better than the larger engine 6 speed tahoe. So my vote is get the car in the best condition you want, with the gear ratio for towing if that's what you want.
