I'm still at 10psi currently. I did swap turbos from the original setup though so it makes power all through the rpm range instead of just up top. These LSA injectors are pretty high in duty cycle at full boost and 5-6k rpm's. As far as pwr/trq I honestly couldn't tell you it's been remote tuned...
The one that's in it currently is not the factory pump. It's an ON3 performance one that I installed with my turbo kit a couple of months back. It's probably got a few thousand miles or so on it maybe. I'm not really upset about it well aside from I had put it in storage and pull my vette out...
What a coincidence so did mine lol. I had just earlier drove it back from my beach house like an hour and a half away. Drove to the gym came out to start it it up and just cranked. Got a ride to my house to grab my laptop and sure enough no fuel pressure. So I guess tomorrow I'll be installing...
I'm extremely late to the party haha. I guess there aren't to many of us that went the turbo route huh. I haven't done much with mine lately aside from local test and tune in which I ran a 9.2 at 80 mph. Stock converter doesn't allow me to 60' anything out of the 2 range :disgust:. Part of me...
Originally when i got it tuned it made 364/400 on 5 psi. Since then i've made some needed changes to PCV system which was pressurizing the crankcase under boost. I've also turned it up to 10 psi which maxed out the fuel setup i have at 6k rpms. I have not put it back on the dyno again yet to...
no worries. currently she is good and running. Plans have changed and I don't think I'm going to do much else to it aside from upgrade the trans a little when it does finally go out and install a small converter just to wake it up a bit out of the hole. By no means is it fast but its a fun full...
Yeah I plan to do a stall but nothing to crazy to be honest with you. I still use the truck for a lot and want it to stay versatile so I'm thinking maybe a 2500 or so.
If I'm not mistaken it should be able to be tuned through the factory ECU and HP tuners so I plan to go that route. And I...
Picked up my next piece to the puzzle as well today. Getting some quotes around the area for coat in regards to what I plan to get done and then it will be on the way out. 4L80e
short clip of a second gear pull from yesterday. made a few changes not long ago so need to get the tune changed up a bit as you can see from the wideband its crazy rich throughout the pull. this was second gear from 10 mph which should have been in first but I didn't come to complete stop. I...
I'll try and get some. I don't really beat on it all to much knowing that the trans isn't going to like it. That and the fact that it accelerates faster partial throttle now than it did when I floored it before lol. But I'll see if I can't get a third gear pull video at some point.
She's all good I've been driving it around for a few weeks with no issues. Got my exhaust all squared away and just been cleaning up the engine bay. I leave on Friday for Ocean city Maryland for the fall cruise weekend.
No, I currently have someone who tunes cars locally do it. He previously worked for a speed shop in my area but no longer does. He pretty much contracts himself out now which sucks for me because it's always a waiting game it seems. I've decided that after it's complete for now when I do the...
Haha it has not blown up. Although for some reason it seems my ECU took a crap which seems very uncommon for the type of ECU that it uses. So I've ordered another one but am currently trying to narrow down whether the most recent HP tuners update had something to do with it or just natural...
I haven't really driven it all that much lately to tell you that. It's been raining for what seems like a month now. I'm scheduled to get the driveability finished up Saturday or Sunday and then I should be able to tell you. It's really the most important and essential part that is really...
Ehh I've been there done that. When I was younger yes but as a homeowner and this being a 6k lb vehicle I don't really get the itch. Previous to this I had a 600hp regular cab superduty and before that a 1000cc streetbike I raced. This is just filling the void and giving me plenty of space in...
Exactly that's why I stopped on wastegate spring lol. If I had a set of dual valve springs in it and non DOD lifters I may have installed the boost controller and have given 10 or 11lbs a try. But I plan to enjoy it attend a few car shows and cruises not push it to its limits.
