Replaced the bose sub with a 8" rockville

Correct. the bose a DVC sub, so there are 4 wires. I ran one set into the + - of the left high level imput, and the other coil into the right high level imput. Very easy.

Replaced the bose sub with a 8" rockville

Stock navigation HU Ya, I didn't want to mess with any of that either. To wire this sub, I ran a wire through the main groment above the parking brake, from there under the hood it there is a ground right there and the power is from the main fuse box. The remote is power is optional with this...

Replaced the bose sub with a 8" rockville

I took out the whole center console for the install. Its relatively easy minus the two phillips head screws on the side hidden by the seats. Any way, the bose amp is large and is directly below the storage area of the center console. the sub is further forward, starts just infront of the...

Replaced the bose sub with a 8" rockville

I was never pleased with the factory bose sub in our yukon. I absolutely did not want a box, so i figured I would try an under the seat compact sub. I bought an a 8" rockville SS8P, turns out it doesn't fit under any seats (if I had looked under the seats before i would have know this lol) I...

    Yukon Quad Retrofit- Morimoto MLED

I may have missed it, what housing are those? Stock painted black? Looks good. I contemplated the m-led vs the profile bi-led, and decided on the profile. However, once I opened my housings up, it was clear they probably weren't going to fit. So I ended up back with the morimoto mini...

What did you do to your NNBS GMT900 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

Deleted "GMC, "flexfuel", and the stupid dealer sticker Added AWD. AND I also moved them below the body line much like the acadia and newest yukon. I always thought the placement was to high on the gmt900

Installed wireless charging into the center console lid

It was very easy. I actually dont know the brand of the actual product i used, but it seems very similar to 3m fiberglass resin, Just crystal clear instead. I got it from a carbon fiber shop to repair some car parts and he poured in into a non marked jug Anyway: -seal up the holes -tape off the...

Installed wireless charging into the center console lid

I'll let you know this weekend, I got ahead of myself with the post. I actually wasn't able to finish the 12-volt,. Most of the 12 volts around the glove box area are on all the time. I assume I'm going to have to go back to the fuse block if I can't find one

Installed wireless charging into the center console lid

We use our Yukon for a lot of trips, and undoubtedly, we forget our charger from time to time. I know a lot of newer cars have the wireless charging in them, but I've always wanted it in the Yukon. Last weekend I took apart a standard wireless charging pad to see how it worked, and...

2010 Yukon Denali retrofit, highbeam issue

Sorry for picture bombing your thread lol. Here is the stock "spec-d" light vs the mini h1 7.0 in my other car (I haven't been able to photograph the yukons, but there are the same output) I tried to match the exposure on both pictures Spec-d Morimoto Mini H1 7.0 with 5500k /35 balast And...

2010 Yukon Denali retrofit, highbeam issue

Unless your headlight were different, while there was plenty of room inside the housing and enough room for a 3" lens, unfortunately there is no extra room at the rear for the square igniter plug on the back of the mini DS2 4.0 I have mini 7.0 in 2 of my cars and they perform well. I have a...

2010 Yukon Denali retrofit, highbeam issue

Oh, And i would never recommend "spec-d" lights. I've used aftermarket housing from spider and other off brands, and they are usually fair quality, but these Spec'ds, while the look ok, they are the worst quality light I've ever dealt with and the unmodified light output is downright dangerous...

2010 Yukon Denali retrofit, highbeam issue

Thanks for the reply, I contacted boost auto and he gave me some tips. I ran a diode from the PINK/white wire in pin 23 of the brown plug (thats the low beam) to the TAN/white wire on the black plug (thats the high beam) What was odd IMO was when the fog/low/high was OFF, the pin showed 12v...

2010 Yukon Denali retrofit, highbeam issue

What color wire was the low beams? (i assume the High beam is the green/wht) I watched the video, and he ran the diode between the green/wht and the tan/wht, but that i believe is for the fog lights. Im currently trying to finish up a Mini H1 retrofit as well, but cant get the lowbeams to stay...

Spyder Auto Headlights, Are they Junk?

I run spyders in several of my cars. The beam pattern is horrible in all but the tahoe. On my other cars i ripped out the spyder projectors and installed TRS ones. The square ones my tahoe are actually very good. Great beam, great cutoff with HIDs. I highly recommend them
