    My 05 hoe's been whining since I replaced with new oem alternator. It doesn't really bother me anymore. I know if it's whining then it's charging my battery plus when people ask what the noise is I just tell him I have a blower.

    Thanks for the advice however I live/cruise on a boat and the truck is Parked with about 500 other cars most of the cars have been jacked with ignition hot wire and that's why I want to do something easy like maybe fuse/relay that has something to do to start system.

    simple answer is no you almost always have to spend more dollars if you don't go with the same transmission/converter the truck came with.. do a professional rebuild with the updates and don't tow anything and you should be fine for another hundred thousand..

    What is the better option? do your brakes not stop in time with deacceleration ..we need more information to help give better advice. Sounds like you already have the advanced setup. My 05 with the OEM setup stops perfectly fine.

    I now have the same sound in my 05 hoe. It starts around 27-30 mph and shows back up around 55. Intermittant, about 6-8 s seconds. Dissapears if i gas it or jerk wheel to right or left.
