My vehicle is a 2019 5.3 V8.
Owners manual says the same as what Fless posted. It doesn't specifify though if it should be at the upper dot or the top of the crossed hatched mark.
I have a quick question:
So I did an oil change. On the dipstick, there is a hashmark with two dots. The oil level is currently at the upper dot. Should I fill it all the way to the top of the hashmark or is it better to leave it where it is?
Thanks.
I want to take advantage of Memorial day sales going on right now. Sale prices expire on the 25th. Looking to purchase a new roof rack system and roof top tent for my 2019 Tahoe LS. The tent I'm considering is the Yakima Skyrise HD (small). It requires a roof/rack with a dynamic weight rating of...
Happened again today. I think it might have something to do with the USB stick that I leaved plugged it. The computer seems to glitch out on occasion. Sometimes I have to unplug the USB and put it back in for it to work again.
Any thoughts?
I have a 2019 Tahoe with 3000 miles on it. Does anyone ever hear a noise when they enter into their vechicle? The best way to describe the sound is it's similar to the noise a radio makes when you have your cellphone really close to it. An interference type of noise. It's a brief buzzing and...
Which hitch did you get?
I'm thinking of possibly installing it but removing it when I'm not using it. Put some nuts on the bolts to keep them in place.
My Tahoe has the max trailering package. I believe it has air leveling suspension in the rear.
Maybe not the solution you are looking for but they make dash cams now. I've never owned one but I will likely buy one in the near future. I believe they hookup to your phone via bluetooth. Clip on to the rear view mirror.
I bought a magnetic mount for my phone that goes in the CD slot in the...
I'm sure it's possible.
In reality, I just want a convenient rack to transport my rods around town or when I go to the outer banks on vacation. They let you drive on the beach there. It's a lot of fun. Good surf fishing.
One could get a kite rod with clips, add split shots to one side of the kite to bank out to the side. Then rig up a second rod with braid and either skip ballyhoo on the surface or pull something else.
Agreed. I'll keep looking.
I found this single receiver mount. Just skimmed the instructions and no drilling required. Probably go with this if I don't find anything better.
What do you guys think about removing the air dam permanently? Do you think it will have a significant affect on MPG...
I mean putting aftermarket recovery hooks inside the receivers.
My LS didn't come with fog lights or recovery hooks. I need to add both.
I just went on Etrailer and some other websites. So far all I've been able to find are single reciever mounts. They all require trimming of the air dam and...
I was thinking the same thing about ground clearance. Didn't know about this style.
Only issue I see is compatibility. I'll see if there are any adapters out there.
Can you put tow hooks inside those recievers?
Thanks
I want to add a front reciever so I can put a rod holder in front of my grill. Do you guys have any recommendations on a good bang for your buck product? Ideally, I want one that does not require drilling.
To anyone that installed one, did you leave your air dam on or off?
What about rod...
I just bought a set of mats off the internet that are similar to these but a fraction of the price. They are called Oedro. $79 for both front and second row, free shipping. I have the Tahoe custom so I don't have a thrid row. In my opinon, they are the best liners I've ever owned.
Hcvone that looks excellent. I was on the fence about going carbon fiber or matching the silver. I like the silver.
Agreed, the fake wood is tacky. It has to go.
If you don't mind, how much did that cost you?
Thanks buddy.
You ever hear of hydro dipping? That might look cool.
You have me thinking. Maybe I should pull all the plastic trim and have it all match. Perhaps psudo carbon fiber.
