    Have you looked at the temperature sensor...might be off enough to tell computer it's cold when it's not and subsequently making it run crappy when hot.

    Your injectors are fine, don't mess with them unless/until you turbo or supercharge it. With a super mild cam you'll be fine where you are.

    I just used a freeze plug, forgot the diameter exactly but you can measure it. Its a good fit, I just smeared a bit of rtv on it. Looks good and doesn't intrude into the throat at all.

    Yep, should be considerably faster than that for sure. I have the same thing. Keep digging you'll find something. I obviously don't know the history of yours but, maybe cats are clogged or melted.

    Check the refrigerant charge Maybe it's icing up and wreaking havoc with stuff.

    I put fronts from a 2013 suburban on a 2001 tahoe...calipers bolted right on. No brackets required. definitely worth it and by the way you'll need the rotors too

    I'm thinking vacuum leak, he could rev up the motor and watch the short term trims and see if they drop...if so he likely has a leak. If he can't actually visually find anything he might need a smoke machine.

    I don't know about the 4l60 crapping out before 200k...I have one tahoe with just short of 300k on it, another with 190 on it and yet another with 250 on it and they all are original and work like new. I guess guys who never change fluid may problems but, taken care of can last longer than 200k

    That's freaking stupid, why gm didn't give up on the afm/dod stuff years a go is a puzzlement....it just gets worse and worse. hard to beat a lm7 for reliability That said, I just read that they are not activating the dod on the latest trucks because they don't have the chips to operate it.

    Can't argue with that. I did talk to the whipple guys and they said I could go down the 1 size being that I run 93. Their tune is for 91 with PE at 1.280 That said I am still nervous about a smaller pulley without checking it out as you suggest. Edit: I also remember Kenne Bell saying the same...

    Just ran across this thread, I have a 2013 5.3 suburban with a whipple. Not jumpy at all, runs great with the whipple tune though it's definitely a conservative tune. I only have done two 0-60 runs and got 5.75, haven't done a 1/4 mile yet but will when I get a chance. on a good day could...
