The truck is AWD, I check the fluid regularly and still has good color and doesn't smell burnt. Last year was the first year of towing. This will be the second year and it will be going from Illinois to Missouri once then only be towed again if I need to move it.
I have a 2009 Yukon Denali XL that I tow our boat with. Boat is 3600lbs dry and trailer is roughly 1500lbs so I am at 5100lbs. My normal trans temps with no boat or trailer are usually around 160-170 degrees F in the summer. I have noticed when towing the temps are obviously higher. I am usually...
Well once again it has been a while since I updated, but all seems to work fine on my suspension. I had a buddy with a snap on scan tool look at the autoride system and everything seems to be working as it should and no codes in the system. The compressor still doesn't start up every time I...
unfortunately the boat is in storage an not accessible until at least April. I have added some weight to the rear and still nothing with the compressor. I will try more weight over the weekend and see what happens.
So I realize its been a bit since I last updated. Work has been busy so no time to work on the car. But I since my last post, I have tried 2 new compressors. 1 more Dorman product and an arnott. Both will air up after I install them because the shocks will be empty. Then the first 2-3 starts...
So I un-hooked the air line today. After plugging the air line back in, shocks were obviously empty. Turn key to on position and the compressor fired up after about 5 seconds or so. I will know more when I try and start it later. From my understanding the compressor should cycle on every time...
So when I first installed the new pump, I could here it release air when I started it for the first time. Since then it has not cycled at all. I have only jumped power once to test the compressor. I suspect it may be a bad release valve on the new compressor. I have a replacement on the way and...
I appreciate all the reply's. The new compressor came with a new dryer. Its all part of the housing. I would like to say that the shocks were replaced first then a new compressor. all within a week or so of each other. There are no leaks in the system that I can find. The compressor runs if I...
I have a 2009 Yukon Denali Xl. For the past few months the Autoride compressor has been super noisy and running constantly. 2 weeks ago, I decided to replace the rear shocks with Arnott rebuilt units. After replacing the compressor was still noisy which is knew it would be, but it would run as...
I Found this connector to be somewhat of the problem. I haven't had much time to dig into it, But I pulled it apart, no burns or wear. Although when I re connected it, the seats started to work. I will pull it apart more this weekend and figure out the real issue. Thanks for the input here.
I have scanned the BCM ( I have access to a Snap on Modis, forgot to mention this before) No codes. I also need to add that a week ago, when I unplugged the connector under the pass seat, the seats began to work for about a day. Then stopped again all together.
Hi everyone, I realize this has been discussed in the past, but I haven't found an answer yet. My 2009 Yukon heated and AC seats do not work anymore, Both driver and passenger. the passenger motorized seat does not work either. I have looked at the common item as I found here on the page as the...
