Decided to document my own progress, instead of loading posts in anyone else’s build page. I will sit down this weekend and get some content on this page.
After looking at yours RC, I took mine off..and immediately put it back on. I just didn’t dig it on mine. But they look great removed from yours. I’ve been doing a lot of black chassis painting myself lately…everytime I expose something, I’ve been painting it.
Oh, and I price and value shopped every tire shop online and in town, and no one could beat TireRack.com. I even got mobile install, he showed up on time the van setup was super dope, and because I had them off my truck at the time, he got these Pirellis on in less than in hour. All balanced...
They look really good, I have mine off at the moment, because I still have a tire that needs a repair. But I think I’m going to drill and tap mine. My center caps are factory black..maybe off a newer model? I did get mine lowered to 4/6 last week. Had to do the free travel mod myself, my shop...
They look great. How are you thinking to mount the PPV center cap? I didn’t like where the mounting holes lined up, thought drilling and tapping into that raised ring would possibly weaken the wheel. I like the look without them, so I didn’t bother. There is a guy out there that makes a clip kit...

Yeah, I’m wrong. Looks like the dealership can do it. I wouldn’t think it would cost much at all. I wish mine came that way...I’d much rather have to turn my lights on vs turning the DRLs off, every time I start my truck.
The stealth mode for the lights can be toggled on and off, if you install the DIC buttons. The PPVs don’t come with them, but the wire is already in place, behind the vent trim plate. Pretty easy diy, Inexpensive. I cut the hole for it and had it installed in an hour or so. Can’t upload a pic...
