    I put one in my SSV - works fine and no issues with starting. My truck sits for a week or two between uses and still no problem even in single digit temps.

    Sadly, no! Did mine just after the purchase and a major move from Florida to NH. Was too damn cold to be out there any longer than necessary. Thankfully, I knew enough about Car Audio from my early years to quickly get through the installation and tuning of the AMP.

    Hey Wes, What did you choose for the blackish Chrome tips? Been on again and off again with wanting to do that to mine. Don't chrome since my truck is basically black or white and completely void of chrome.

    I have my AutoCAL from BBP when I did my tune - happy to share/loan it to you if you just need to borrow one versus buying. Havent used it since loading the files to the ECM.

    When I got around to fixing this - my solution was to get a mirror with the auto dimmer feature. Pretty sure it came from some Buick or GM car. I found the harness tucked up in the headliner inside the console space. That was my solution to the problem.
