2016 Denali/6.2 long term reliability
Does a reprogram to stop AFM from dropping to V4 mode fix the long term lifter fail probability? Or is it an inherent design issue? I guess the real question is do the lifters only fail when going in and out of collapsing for v4 mode or are they just failure prone regardless.- Bo Top

I couldn’t find any threads for this so I started a new one. I’m almost at 85k mile on a ‘16 Denali. What’s the consensus for the drivetrain, long term wise. Just ditch the magnetic ride. I got the shock sims kit and KYB SR4546 on an XL Denali and went with AC Delco Air Shocks on rear. All in $900 and i didn’t have to deal with a spring compressor- Bo Top

Front MRC Shock Replacement, OE or Aftermarket?
Finished mine up. Magnaride is gone and i honestly can’t tell the difference (obviously recently it rode terrible). Parts: 3/4 xineering kit-$325 (email them about it; 2 height deletes and 4 shock sims) KYB SR4546- $300 AC Delco 5401723 rear air shocks-$200 Replacing the rear shocks was...- Bo Top

2017 Yukon transmission shudder
I just joined today to figure out what to do with the front suspension on a '16 XL. But, I've had the 8-speed issues as well. Ours would shudder a lot at lower speeds, I think it was the 1-2 or 2-3 shift. Also, the biggest sign I saw was cruising at 70 mph, the RPM would fluctuate up and down...- Bo Top

Front MRC Shock Replacement, OE or Aftermarket?
Which KYB's did you get? SR-4546? Do you have the 22" rims? Do you have an XL? I joined the forum just now because my Denny tunred 80k and the front end started bouncing like a hoopty wagon. I really like my dealer, but I can't pay $1800 for new front shocks that will quit again down the road.- Bo Top
