I ended up going with Chevy front to back, they’re fine at the 3 seats but I’m not at all impressed with the cargo liners. I’m going to have to cover the backside in Velcro to keep it from moving at the slightest tough. I spend more time repositioning it then I do putting stuff in and out.
I was hoping it was something more than Velcro as I ordered the full Chevy set front to back a little while ago but the weathertech is the same so I guess it doesn’t really matter. Thank you.
Winter won’t let go on the east coast either, it was hot most last week and cold/snowing the last 2 days.
Do you happen to have any pictures of your canvasback setup? Thanks.
I didn’t even consider the husky’s, I have a gift card for weather tech that needs spent and have $170 in Chevy money from the suburban purchase to spend. If you guys are also having trouble with them folding up I don’t want the seat floor mats, maybe I’ll get the chevys and spend the...
We just picked up our 23 suburban high country duramax on Saturday that I was trying to order for over 8 months. I wanted to order it with the Chevy floor liners front to back but they weren’t available as an option when I ordered.
Rows 1-3 are available from Chevy but I’d have to get the Chevy...
I don’t have any custom truck shops nearby. If ready lift doesn’t label a part as compatible with a given year they’re just going to say it doesn’t fit anything but the specified years.
I was hoping someone on here had some first hand experience.
Does anyone know if the upper control arms specifically ready lift listed for 2017-2018 1500 trucks will fit the newest models SUVs? They’re part number 67-3500. Ready lift doesn’t list control arms separate for the new models they’re just included in the 3” lift kit but I can’t find a part...
There’s nothing wrong with having reservations about something and your gut feeling isn’t something to ignore. I currently own 6 diesel trucks from 96-16 so I’m pretty comfortable around them to say the least.
Enough guys with 3.0s in their trucks use them as grocery getters that im not worried...
That’s a non issue, I live in PA where -20 spells with wind chill aren’t uncommon and I don’t plug in my older 5.9s, my 7.3 powerstroke which are notoriously ****** cold starters, and certainly not my 6.7 cummins. The 3.0 DURAMAX (not babymax) like any other modern diesel doesn’t have issues in...
The 6.2 does nothing for me in a family vehicle, I wouldn’t even consider it for the cost. The dmax is a much more appealing upgrade. I have high horsepower diesel trucks and a 68 chevelle I’m building another big block for, in the suburban I’ll take fuel mileage and reliability every day of the...
I don’t put faith into any dealer service departments, dealer “techs” these days are a joke. If the diagnostic tool can’t tell them a problem they’re lost.
I do all my own maintenance but my local dealer is Chevy and gmc regardless, the limited time I’ve had to deal with them they’ve been fine...
Haha thanks, and I sure hope so. We do everything together and enjoy each other’s non stop company.
I know a Denali is a better buy but I was curious what made others choose a high country instead when they’re basically the same price.
That’s all pretty obvious and was already mentioned, but like I said the wife doesn’t like the gmc front end so it is what it is. If I told her we need to get the Denali she would be fine with it but I buy myself what I like so she can have what she likes as well.
Oh I know the Denali is more bang for your buck but “things” are nothing to my wife, she’d be just as happy driving her 89 hatchback ford (won’t let me say the model for some dumb reason) she had when we started dating as she would a new luxury vehicle. She’ll drive whatever I get her and she’d...
