    Seems like it should be similar spinning at 3000 RPMs on the highway versus doing 35 miles per hour. At least for the engine's sake.

    I did some moderate hills yesterday pulling my 5000lb camper and my engine temp reached 237 and it was about 100 outside. My trans temp reached a max of 208 so I'm not worried about that, just my engine temp. The rest of the trip I ran with no AC and it peaked around 220. I have a Derale...

    2008, when I tow I constantly watch my torque app which has oil pressure and temperature. When cruising, pressure stays around 38 to 40 PSI, when idling it stays anywhere between 15 to 20. Oil temperature was running usually between 230 to 240.

    I signed up here after googling this issue, I'm experiencing the same issue when towing a 4000lb camper. Has anyone found a sure solution? Does anyone agree with the guy above to replace the PCB?
