    Quick update on my original post. Today the lifters failed again, now for the third time at 14,000 miles. Car has been a disaster.

    Thanks. I leased the vehicle, so not concerned about long-term performance. However, I just no longer trust the reliability of this vehicle. Both lifter failures occurred with my wife driving the vehicle more than 3 hours away from home.

    Quick update here. At 3,000 miles the lifters on 4 cylinders failed, resulting in two weeks in the repair shop. Now at 10,000 the lifters on the other side of the engine block failed, of course, 3 hours from home. This will likely be my last GMC ;( Why isn't there an official recall on these...

    My 2021 Yukon AT4 had a lifter failure and bent rod at ~3,000 miles and had to be towed to the dealership. No replacement parts are available, so now it's a waiting game.

    In my state, the vehicle may be considered a lemon if it sits in repair for at least 30 days. I am assuming days waiting for parts would also be included in that 30 days?
