    New here w/ 11 Hoe Mountain/overland build

I don’t really see a winch as a tool to get me unstuck but rather a tool to pull me over certain obstacles safely. Where I wheel it wouldn’t be unimaginable to intentionally high center the vehicle on a log or boulder and then use the winch and ****** blocks to then pull over it in a controlled...

    In need of mirror help

Ive been running some aftermarket tow mirrors for a month now and am very pleased with them, however I’m having 1 slightly annoying issue with them. My Tahoe has the memory feature for the mirrors and since the range of motion and motor speeds are different on the new mirrors, sometimes when I...

    I need mirror HELP!

I’m well aware of that. I’ve programmed both of the memory settings to the same position. I’m not looking for condescending answers, I just want to know how to disable the feature if at all possible.

A couple quick things; in order to make the wheels/tires extend beyond the fender you will need more negative offset. Too much negative offset can cause addition rubbing. Also, you mentioned this was a work truck? Will you be towing? If so, I would suggest limiting your tire height as well as...

    New here w/ 11 Hoe Mountain/overland build

Thank you. Those are American Racing Baja’s (17x9 -12) that have been painted with duplicolor bronze wheel coating. I may have them bead blasted and powder coated eventually depending how the coating holds up. Coating them was more work than I would be willing to do a second time.

    New here w/ 11 Hoe Mountain/overland build

This is probably the happiest I’ve ever been with a vehicle purchase to be honest and I continue to be impressed with how underrated this chassis truly is. My only complaint so far is the limited amount of aftermarket support for off roading these rigs. I really envy the diversity of options my...

    New here w/ 11 Hoe Mountain/overland build

Hello All, New here, I live in western ND and spend as much of my summers in the mountains as possible. I purchased my 11 Tahoe at the end of 2018 and got into overlanding and off roading due to a lack of available camping spots during the pandemic over the last couple summers. This is my...

    Front axle recs?

I have an 11 Tahoe 4x4 with a 3.5” rough country lift. As part of the lift it drops the front diff to reduce the angles and comes with a skid plate to cover the diff. I replaced my front axles at the beginning of the summer with a pair from 1AAuto. They seem to be holding up just fine. My advice...
