No. If your Tahoe didn’t come with heated wheel, you won’t have that plug coming out of BCM. You need to find your own power. I gave it power from the module underneath the dash. Pic is attached a few posts ago
Hey Amaster, I ended up getting the harness like an idiot but you only need that clock spring that has the wire for heated steering wheel.
Harness doesn't do anything since BCM is not programmed to even recognize the wires for heated steering wheel through the harness.
Power fold forward, heated with solid seating surface. Let me see if I can find a picture. Pre-owned would work too. I'll take anything at this point as long as it's a plug and play. I'm in CO 80134
Hi all!
I have a 2009 Tahoe Z71 LT2 that came with bucket seats. I'm looking to swap it with bench but can't find heated/power bench on eBay. Does anyone know the part number for carpet and bench?
Maybe someone will be kind enough to share their VIN so I can look up parts by VIN. I'll buy you...
Can you please share more details around that jump seat? I've been looking to swap my heated and power captain chairs from 2009 Tahoe but can't find a bench close to me in CO that has power and heat. Thanks!
Not to hijack the thread, but I've been looking for a power folding and heated bench for my 2009 Tahoe as well. Does anyone know the part number for the bench that is heated and power folding? Thanks!
For people who need an answer, I plugged the power source for heated steering wheel to BCM under the drive side dash. I will try to post some pics later today.
I tried one spot with a spade connector first and it wasn't getting enough power for heat will turn on and then off on the steering...
Nope. No luck. I did come across this, but haven’t had a chance to try it out yet. All the driver side fuses kill the battery. Ask me how I know lol

I figured it out for anyone looking for a solution. Apparently my dumb a forgot to press the white clip at the back of the connectors behind airbag. So if you don't press them in, you will get error codes. Took the airbag out, and pressed those white locks in and everything works now except for...
If I read the page 13's first post correctly here: https://www.gm-trucks.com/forums/topic/105656-how-to-heated-steering-wheel-install-gmt900-sierra/page/13/
then replacing harness doesn't give me the power source for heated steering wheel, I have to get this harness. Does anyone know where I...
I am back! I ended up buying this steering wheel here: https://www.tahoeyukonforum.com/threads/nearly-new-gmc-yukon-denali-heated-steering-wheel.130765/#post-1633008
Ordered the harness and clock spring to make it work. Everything went without a hitch, but heated steering wheel doesn't work...
I’ll take it. Please send me a PM and we can work it out. $325 shipped and PayPal’s right? Just need to know what all I need to order to make it work in my non-heated steering wheel Tahoe. Also would like to know if that wood is removable since my Tahoe doesn’t have any wood elements whatsoever...
Thank you so much!!
This is exactly what I’ve been looking for to install in my 2009 Tahoe LT2 Z71. It should be plug and play, right?
Does it come with clock spring or do I have to order that separately? Also, you’re keeping your airbag, right? It’s just the shell steering wheel with all the...
Thanks, Joseph. Really looking forward to finally doing some convenience mods
Here is a quick pic I took around Halloween. Trying to build something that looks super mean.
