E-fans: Why? What's the difference?
I have the same issue in my 02 tahoe Z71.When compressor kicks on RPMs dip to the point of almost stalling at idle.There was plenty of stress on the tensioner and when I would rev the engine the belt would start slapping. AC Compressor - $1200 - fair price?
I know that the route Im going is hit or miss but an ebay seller is selling a reman compressor(denso i believe) that comes with the drier,oil and orifice tube for 169 + shipping.All that they ask is that you get everything installed by a certified tech and they will honor their 1yr warranty.Im...- memphistiger
