I can see the crimp on the plastic of the wire so I know it just pulled out of the clip.
It seems to hold it in well enough when I push it back in. Just makes me nervous that it would fall back out again
Today I decided to tackle the tyranny fluid in my XL. Things were going well besides the fluid bath I took when the pan finally popped free of the seal.
When I was trying to get the filter seal out my pick slipped and pulled the green wire out of the harness right next to the filter tube.

My 2011 Yukon XL has got 178k on it. I bought it used from a private sale at the beginning of March. The price was right when we bought it I knew I had to do some work on it. One thing I forgot to look at was the tranny fluid condition. I didn't really think about it until I had to replace the...
Ouch, that's not cool. I'll probably end up doing it in my driveway. It doesn't seem too difficult, just time consuming. Gives me an excuse to get a new impact :) What makes it difficult is we're a 1 car family right now so downtime is hard to acquire.

Luckily for me I was able to just cut that section out...
I've owned my 2011 Yukon XL for about a month now and have been checking off my list of things that need to be fixed. One of those has been chasing a P0455 code.
I was able to get a smoke machine hooked up this morning and found my issues. Multiple holes in the evap hoses (See pics). I looked...
I did read your thread already. It was very good.
I don't have a lift so I assume the difficulty would be much higher. If you didn't have a lift would you attempt to do the repair?

I picked up a 2011 Yukon XL SLT with 176k a few weeks ago to haul the family around in. First GM vehicle and coming from a Honda Odyssey. I didn't see the leak when looking at it but after I discovered it I thought no big deal. Took me 9 hours and it had the original riveted gasket still but I...
