O.K. good to know, thanks.
This is the first update I've been prompted for. Honestly I didn't know that updates were also listed in the MyGMC app....maybe more updates were available in the past but I wasn't really checking for them.
So is this update (N23-2411560) safe? I heard some issues with a "fan speed problem"? I get prompted every time I shut off the engine but I have been holding off.
Update: So I picked up the Denali Tuesday evening. Everything looks good. The small scratch in the front door is gone after they buffed it and there are 2 or 3 very tiny spots in the rear bumper where they used touch up paint, maybe 1/16" in diameter at most. You could never seem them...
Well they wanted $2K and that's what they normally charge. They tell me their cost is $1K, which is what I paid. I don't have a full list yet but I agree the lifetime window tint is probably something I would do and maybe worth $300 - $400. The other stuff like paint sealant, leather...
Yeah I actually started second-guessing myself over the weekend. Maybe I should have. I think I'll take a look at the job they did and worst case insist they re-paint it at that point. Honestly I'm not as concerned about bumper and a couple tiny fill spots. But the scratch in the door might...
Update on my situation. Got an email late last Wednesday that my Denali just arrived. So I thought in my head a day for prep work and I should be able to pick it up Friday (yesterday). Well I didn't hear anything all day Thursday so I called Friday late morning and was told there was some...
Thanks guys...At this point I'll probably be focusing more on the Denali. The wife likes it a little more and I'm hoping having that other vehicle available will help in my final negotiations. For example, the Denali dealer agreed to Supplier pricing, but then wanted me to pay $2K in dealer...
Yeah I think I have that list he put together, it is very helpful. Good comments on the Denali retaining its value, you might be right. I never thought about the service departments but that is definitely a good consideration. I will say that the Denali is at a dealer that is much closer, so...
Hello all. Haven't been on here much but thought I would post an update.
Back in August of last year I put in an order for a Yukon XL SLT. Options were diesel engine, SLT Luxury package and Max Tow. But since I wasn't getting any real communication from this dealer (I was working with the...
I'm actually doing that. I have had 3 orders in with 3 different dealers. Two are SLT's (with diesel) and one is a base Denali (with diesel). The Denali was accepted within 7 weeks of order and is scheduled to be built next week. The SLT orders are still sitting at their respective dealers...
I would consider this good news. Event code 3300 means that your build has been scheduled so you likely have a TPW but GMC chat can't see it yet. I'd ask the dealer to check with their inventory manager. My order is also at 3300 and I am in the same boat. My inventory manager told me the TPW...
Sorry to hear about your experience. Did your large dealer tell you where you were in their list for a Yukon? Maybe they are getting allocations but you are pretty far down there. I know there was a very large dealer in my city but I didn't even bother to talk to them because I heard they had...
Believe what you want sir. You are not the only one posting your experiences here. I posted mine and dozens others have posted theirs. I am working directly with an inventory manager. This is the guy that actually puts in the orders for a living, not just a typical sales man. I think he...
I would just caution anyone who is relying on the GMC "chat" service to not trust those status codes too much, especially before your vehicle gets to "3000" status. In this thread here...
I'm not on the west coast (in AZ) but I don't think anyone on this forum can explain how the allocation process works. Only an insider within GM could do that and they never would because that could potentially harm some dealers. I will say that larger volume dealers will get more allocations...
Sounds like your dealer hasn't gotten an allocation yet for the particular build that you have (and specific options). Maybe something you want is on constraint? All I know is that you won't move to "3000" until your dealer has an allocation for your specific build and submits it in one of...
You can get the status codes here: https://gmauthority.com/blog/gm-order-tracking/gm-order-event-codes-and-definitions/
Basically 3000 is when the vehicle is truly "accepted" and the dealer has spent an allocation on your build. Before then I wouldn't really consider it accepted for...
Yeah, I hear you. If I were the only decision maker I would switch to the RST. I like the looks of it and as you say, that money can buy a lot of things. But it seems my wife really likes the Denali that much more so we are going to stick with that. I told the Chevy dealer to keep my order...
There is some info in this thread: https://www.tahoeyukonforum.com/threads/2024-tahoe-refresh-design-unofficial.134981/post-1735970
Looks like we won't actually see them for general delivery until early 2024.
So as some of you know, I currently have a Yukon XL base Denali (diesel) order that was accepted a couple weeks ago and it is sitting at status "3000", waiting for a TPW. Well to my surprise I got a call from a Chevy dealer today who told me that my Suburban RST diesel order with Luxury package...
Thanks for posting this. Does anyone know how this works if you already have an order in at the "3000" status and it was during the time of the constraint? If the vehicle had the "00C" RPO code in their order (Not equipped with wireless charging), will it stay that way even though my vehicle...
So according to my dealer I also have a TPW of 1/2/2023 but he said that could change. Like you I have the diesel Denali on order but more of a base model---just ACC, Max Tow and bench seats in 2nd row. Not sure I want a vehicle produced just before the Christmas break anyway :)
