    2013 Yukon 6.2 with p0304 code

Hello! Trying to pick your brain on my 2013 Yukon XL with 6.2L. Had the P0304 code with traction control light and stabilitrak lights come on. Engine light flashes. Got the vehicle home, restarted with no lights. Drove it 200 miles lights come back on and stayed on. Has AFM disabled with Black...

Random Misfire after Overheating 2013Yukon Denali 6.2L

Ok so about 2-3 months ago I ended up overheating my truck while driving around town. Cant believe I didnt see it but is what it is. Previously I have swapped the radiator, upper & lower hoses, heater hoses & bulk head connections, water pump, thermostat & full flush. When I did all of that I...

2016 Yukon Denali weird stuff, sketchy gm dealer

Hello, please help. lol. I am new to the forum and I own a 2016 Yukon Denali with the 6.2 engine. 124k miles. My issues started out relatively small it seemed, I had the unfortunately typical hard shifting and delayed shifting going on (mostly into second gear). Engine light comes on. I take it...

2007 Yukon SLT 5.3 to 6.2 swap, VVT cam replace options, and long tube headers

Hi, I have a 2007 Yukon XL 1500 4x4 with 5.3L 4L60 with 240k miles that is recently burning a LOT more oil and losing coolant (slowly). I suspect head gasket failure. Amazingly no issues from DoD so far. Rather than go through rebuild and DoD delete on the 5.3, I got a deal on a salvage 2007...

Low oil pressure at idle, pulling my hair out, looking for any and all options.

So it started about a year ago, once engine gets to operating temp (coolant needle straight up), the traction/stability light would come on, indicating an issue and then shortly after a p0011 code, “A” Camshaft Position Timing Over Advanced or System Performance Bank 1. Nothing would change in...

2011 Yukon engine dropped a valve... 186k AFM Flex

Has very loud ticking noise, #5 was not firing. I took the drivers side valve off to find #5 intake valve not seated in the up/closed position. Put compressed air in through spark plug hole, air was blowing out throttle body. I guess the valve somehow contacted the piston and bent. I tried...

    6.2L V8 - 2021 owners

What is your real MPG? 2WD or 4WD? (I don’t need a 4WD so I ordered a 2WD). I, so far, go to work 4-5 days a week 1 mile away but tend to go around town to run errands and such. (I’m figuring like $200-$300 for gas a month) right now my 8 yr old, V6 Acadia is getting like 11 MPG but I fill...

    6.2L Availability and 2022 Tahoe's

Has anyone heard if the 6.2L is still going to be exclusive to the High Country in 2022? Any news on when the 2022's are coming out and if there are any other changes in the works? I saw something posted to gm authority back in 2020 saying that Chevy was going to make the 6.2L available on...

    Transmission Question - 6L80E

Does anyone have a list of repairs/replacements “suggested” when hitting the 100k mile mark on these transmissions? I know the obvious info listed in the owners manual and what’s listed in the Haynes manual, but is there anything additional that anyone knows of that should be inspected...
