Exhaust manifold tick? Can’t figure out where the ticking is coming from
I have a 2014 Tahoe with 5.3 and I was told I have a broken off stud on the drivers side rear. I don’t feel any leaking or hear any noise from the broken stud area. Exhaust manifold tick?
Hello. My manifold stud broke off in the drivers side closest to the steering wheel, it seems to have started ticking too. It appears to be coming from under though and I don’t feel or hear anything at the broken stud area. I don’t feel the leak there. What y’all think? Where else could it be...- iboughtatahoe23

1999 Tahoe/Lifter or Exhaust Manifold?
Hey guys my recently purchased 99 5.7 Vortec Tahoe has developed a tick on cold starts. I’m hoping someone knows a way I can find out if this is a lifter issue or maybe a exhaust manifold leak.
