Ground strap vs ground cable?
Considering my ground strap is not looking bueno and new GM strap is going to take a week or two to arrive from Amazon, are there any risks with replacing it with 4 gauge Ground Cable from local store instead? Has anyone done it permanently? I also feel like in rustbelt the insulated ground...- m1dn

Ground issues? No crank, no start, no obd2, 1h later works as usual
Was going to school bus stop this morning, opened car, threw in backpack for the gym, closed and tried remote start, lights blinked but no crank. Could a broken chassis-to-hood ground strap cause my battery to drain and various CEL codes?
