I have a 2004 and Escalade, It has the digital HVAC controls and the rear air. About 5 years ago, I upgraded from the mechanical engine fan to the electric engines fans. I used stock parts and had the computer reprogrammed, so it functions more like a 2005/2006 with the electric fans. It has...
Wife texted me saying the 2011 Tahoe we bought recently isn't enabling the front blower fans, but rear controls worked fine.
I got in today and everything is fine. Should I pull the dash apart and make sure there isn't anything obvious or is an easier check to pull the HVAC fuse and wait a bit?
Hey I posted about this before did a bunch of research to no avail.
Anyone have any ideas why when I hit brakes, only 3rd brake light works (Tail DRLs, reverse lites work fine) and pas rear turn signal dead, all bulbs are good in rear. Could it be a bad brake light switch or some weird...
I have replaced: blower motor resister, blower motor, and climate control module (on the dash). I have Checked all fuses related to blower, HVAC 1 etc that I can see on the fuse box labels. Even Swapped out the A/C Relay. Why is my Blower fan not turning on. Is it a broken wire? has anyone...
Okay, I just acquired a 1999 LT 4 door with rear AC. This Tahoe has rear defrost and heated mirrors. The previous owner said the control module went out and he couldn't find one that looked like the original (for some reason he tossed it and now I don't know what it was). So, he went out and got...
Hi all,
Trying to figure out a problem with front HVAC before it gets too hot during the summer! My '07 Suburban has the auto climate control setup and when I set the fan to full blast there's only a modest amount of air coming from the upper vents. A/C itself works fine and the air gets cold...
I’ve seen one post about this, but the answer didn’t work for me. I have a 2003 Suburban that I inherited when my dad passed away. It is in great shape and I love driving it (especially with the Bose stereo!). It has a problem where there is a loud clicking sound in the front dash on the...
So I have a 1999 Yukon SLT I bought used. I'm having 3 electrical problems with it that are most likely not related but I figure I'd pour it all out in case one might cause the other. Let me preface this by saying I am not a mechanic. I'm not even a vehicle hobbyist. It's just my daily driver...
I am changing my entire AC system on my 1999 2 door Tahoe 5.7. Since I have already balanced the new compressor with the correct amount of PAG oil but since I'm changing the condenser, both hoses, and the receiver drier, I need to add PAG to each of them. I know what amounts to add but I...
Does anyone have any recommended scan tools that can talk to our HVAC actuators, that is not a Tech2? Having rough time with the air recirculation actuator among others.
Hi everyone. I’m hoping someone smarter than me can help me figure out what’s going on with my HVAC. 2006 Yukon Denali.
The driver side has a strange problem. While on upper vents it will gradually get colder until there is no heat at all coming out. The passenger side stays constant. If I...
2005 Chevy Tahoe
Automatic ECC
The problem I have is the driver side temp blend door seems to be almost stuck on cold. Passenger side will take about 10 seconds to change from coldest setting to hottest setting, as one would expect...
Driver side will only function as follows..
With temp set...
Is the rear HVAC or Radio control panel backlit?
The one in the back of the center console on the floor of 2003-2006 tahoe, suburban, silverado, and avalanche.
I took mine apart, it has bulbs, they are not burnt out (i confirmed by measuring continuity across the bulbs). But they do not light...
