Hello. New guy here. I’ve been searching the threads but haven’t been able to find anything specific. We have a ‘21 RST Suburban and it’s time for new tires. I know the stock size is a 275 50 22. I’m wondering If I can go to a 275 55 22 without any issues of rubbing or anything like that. Looking to go with an AT tire that’s a little more aggressive looking than the stock radial. But the options are limited in the stock size. Any help is appreciated!!

They should fit, they are only about an inch taller, so if you have a half inch or more of clearance with the current tires you should be good. 305/45/22 fit well with no rubbing, and there are several at’s in that size.

And they are the same overall diameter, so no issues with the speedo.
I didn't know that the RST Burb came with 275/50, just assumed it would be the same as my 2020 RST Hoe in 285/45.
Just did the math and you're right, the OEM size comes out to 32.82" and the 305's are 32.80" OD.

They switched it up to slightly skinnier and slightly taller tires on the ‘21 and up models. 275/50/22 instead of 285/45/22.

On the same boat. My 21 RST with the stock Bridgestone are aging terrible. Been debating on the Toyo AT3’s or Pirelli SCORPION AS PLUS 3.

My ex just put another set of toyo at3’s on her high country. She got good wear and mileage out of them and they perform well.

Same here, they are going bye-bye at some point next year, they are the worst in the rain.....25K miles right now.
