I'm considering upgrading the rear sub in my Yukon Denali. I know the Bose sub is an oddball shape, so while at the junkyard, I found and grabbed a sub box out of a Tahoe. I'm not looking to push a ton of power/bass, but I'm assuming any kind of an aftermarket sub/amp combo would be better than the stock Bose system. I think I can get a sub and amp from Skar audio for around $200, which should give more than the stock setup. Or am I way off on this?

I recommend this on for a factory replacement sub. Been running if for several years now, also paired it with a dual amp from walmart and let me tell they work very well together.
