As Ive stated 100 times, I LOVE my tahoe lol. But I LOVE the 07+ front ends... I saw one post on here from a guy looking at a truck on CL that had the front converted. I assume Id need...

Hood
Fenders
Front Clip
Core support.

Anyone done this, know anyone whos done this, have info on doing this etc etc lol. Sure beats going out and buying one just to have that front lol.

My best friend owns his own Fab shop. Look him up on FB, Kendrick Fabrication. He built my dodge ram baja/truggy. Got that covered lol. I really doubt it would be over a few grand to do the conversion.

Got on CL and found an ENTIRE front clip for 1000. Hood, fenders, grill, core support and headlights, plus its white already, same as my hoe, hope the paint code is the same.... We will update with pics as the build proceeds, should probably make a build thread...

I know a guy here in Houston that does them (I usually sell him the parts), and they end up looking good. Everything is pretty much a bolt in, fenders, hood, core support etc. You'll need to alter the frame horns to fit the reinforcement. The most metal work needed to be done will be on the rear of the fenders. Because the 00-06 has the body line, whereas 07+ does not. It wont look right unless you bring that body line into the fender.

I would also suggest working the rear of the vehicle as well so that the fender well openings match. Otherwise it'll turn out looking really awkward.

These are the 2 most important points to follow to make it look right. without either of these it just looks goofy and out of place.

If you don't do some custom work to help the different body lines match up.. it's gonna look like poopz
