00 denali p1345 error code????

so i got a code thrown on my denali today. It threw the o2 sensor yesterday and got it erased and then today it threw the p1345 code twice...truck runs good still, have noticed nothing but the ce light coming on, researched alil bit and it talks bout timing and 2 sensors..but if it runs good, would timing be an issue? i lost right now..any help would b appriciated

it looks like there is an issue with the cam to crank timing, but unfortunately i have no idea why/how that would just pop up with the truck running fine. just shots in the dark, maybe low voltage to cam sensor and/or crank trigger. if you have a laptop, you could order one of the $30 scanner setups and watch the real time readings and see if you see anything out of the norm. or you could datalog it until the code comes on, then watch the playback and see exactly what happened

the code covers too much area really..i wish i could pinpoint the problem so i could fix it myself! hate to go to the stealership and get robbed outta a few hundred bucks and it b a $50-$100 fix i coulda done at home..if it were running bad i could narrow done the different issues but nothing seems to be wrong really cept for the ce light...i aint had the truck long enough to deal w these probs yet..so i dont know what is might have been doin b4 i bought it

i guess the people i got it from did a half ass tune-up on it..had the timing off -15 degrees...geez!!! took 2 weeks to turn the light on tho, got it fixed yesterday, didnt cost much thankfully. but then they add the list of things they found wrong, wasnt too bad tho i guess for a 12 yr old truck w 120k...fuel filter(fixed) power sterring hose(fixed) cv boot leaking grease..looking into how to fix without spending the 300 the stealership wants...and 4wd service<----i think thats just a preventive maintenance thing they threew on there just to try to get that extra cash...they might get it too , just so i can not have to worry bout it for a good while again

had the timing 15 degrees off? what does that consist of? all the timing is in the ecu since theres no distributor

shop did it..im not sure, something bout the cam and crank shafts..it was read thru the hand diagnostic tool they use...and there r gears somewhere in there...im just gettin familiar w the truck

maybe someone replaced the timing chain and had it a tooth off, but thats not a cheap fix. either way, im glad its getting worked out for you!
