Last week our Yukon ate a deer. It caused significant damage to the hood, right fender, right-side headlight and marker lights, grill, tranny cooler, A/C condensor, radiator, radiator shroud, and coolant reservoir. It has 200,000 miles so I'm not terribly worried about keeping it original.
I have located a front clip for $300 but it's from a 2000 Silverado with minor damage on the driver fender, so I may need to replace that part. As chance would have it, however, our Yukon is white and the replacement clip that I found is white so as long as the colors are the same it would save me a ton of money having it repainted since I am not a body-man. The clip comes with pretty much everything I need for the repair except for the tranny cooler, but I have one of those in my shop that should work ok.

Questions:
1. Is the stock white paint color the same between the 2 vehicles, or at least close enough to not be noticable?
2. From what I understand everthing should bolt right up, correct?
3. The door profiles on these trucks have "nooks and crannies (sorry, non-technical term, there!), and are they identical between these models so that the body panels match up where they meet?

Thanks in advance, guys.

Well, I did some more checking and both the radiator and AC condensor won't be the same because the Yukon has rear heating/AC while the Silverado obviously would not. Still debating on what to do. The insurance company sold it back to me for $1000 and it's in pretty good shape (besides the front damage, of course) with an excellent interior. I am thinking of just keeping the year-old tires with the wheels and parting everything else out. Good engine, tranny, transfer case, etc...
Any advice on this?

Depends on weather you want another car payment. Also can you check the local salvage yards for the pieces you need to fix it? Or go Aftermarket! Fenders, bumper and grill get a stock bumper for a yukon or sierra and so a aftermarket bumper cover! And rock it like that till you are ready to paint it!

Imo keep it and get aftermarket front. And get a steel cowl hood while at it
