hey guys new to the forum, new to 01-06 tahoes/yukon/etc... Got a03 thaoe 4wd on 26s, for now ive got dropped keys up front, and chopeed drop springs in the rear... chopped down the bump stops and its currently riding on them.. wondering what you guys are doing for a little extra clearence in the rear to keep it low n still ride nice.. front rides good, rear is poop.. lol

thought about trimming off the bump stop brackets and mounts and notching the frame a little for more clearence.. wondering how everybodys doing this, or if there's an easier more recommended way to gain more clearence.. any pics/help would be greatly appreciated!!!

Do the rear free travel mod
http://www.djmsuspension.com/Articles new/FreeTravel.html

then go from there.

what size tires are you running?
what does the truck measure from ground to fenderlip?

Shoot me that and I can see if i can help you with something. I have 5.5 inch drops on 26s on guys trucks with no issues and a pretty good ride. Just need to set up the combo correct.
