01 Mirror Glass Replacement

I have an 2001 Tahoe LT. Need a driver side mirror replacement glass. Power/Heat/Autodimming. I can only find heated mirror replacements. Any ideas? Thanks.

Do you need just the glass or the whole connecting unit? The glass has a plastic piece that connects it to the mirror housing. If that's not there you'll need a whole new mirror.

When someone smashed my drivers side mirror, They paid for a new mirror insert that was Power/Heat/Autodimming for 400 bucks that i picked up from the stealership. The mirror is held on by a couple alligator clips and just pops out, then with new mirror its just pops right back in a snap.

This would have been the mirror i would have bought if i had to pay for it.

Yeah I'm in the same boat needing a insert for my driver mirror with turn signal ...

What's funny is I installed a non dimming mirror replacement and the chassis wiring had more connections than the mirror. Coincidentally my rear defroster quit working. I'm hoping that installing the correct replacement all plugged in will magically restore function to the rear defrost. Fingers crossed...
