01 Tahoe tune incoming, what (cold) air filter and exhaust?

Well there is a solution for everything. There is also space between the pollies and the radiator/electric fan. We will see what I will end up with!


If flex a lite electric fan is affordable it is a option too. Will see what the belgium guy has for sale!

I got the KG8 GENERATOR 130 AMP! Busy reading all the parts from the RPO list. Very cool and interesting to see all options and parts. Also a lot of codes revering to EU model, ordered in Belgium. With European blinkers etc etc. G65 LEVEL CONTROL MAN, SELF-ADJUSTING, what does that mean?

And G80 rear axle, limited slip, but I knew that already, and the Tahoe knows it too, drifting around in the rain. Actually going to do a drift cursus this year.. Ok can keep on talking. Dual AC is I sad. But a 130amp it is.

G65 is self leveling rear shock, part of ZW7 suspension I think.

And be easy on that G80 locker. Mine is long time gone in the gear heaven

EU models have different rear towbar, rear fog light, and front lights and seat belts with TUV approval, also 433MHz remote, exhaust tip point toward rear, not side.

Ah see, got that on my parts list too but couldn't find out. Don't know which number but I also had a part number that sad smoother ride or something, probably also something to to with that then. But it is a mechanical system I suspect?

Have to find out how that works. Because since the beginning I've the feeling there is always one side sags more then the other when driving over a speed bump. I checked all my codes. Vin Quote: ''That vehicle has 104 installed options returned in the build sheet. It was built November 02, 2000 as a 2001 model year.''

And it has probably been a display vehicle in Belgium. And as far as I know the first owner was someone from the South of the Netherlands, against the border of Belgium.

Is 104 options a lot?

Save your money on an air intake. Get an AEM DryFlow drop-in filter and, if you want a little more sound and maybe a few horses, an Airaid MIT. The MIT alone will give you a throaty sound that is very much like an aftermarket muffler, so you won't be longing for such a loud muffler just to hear the V8.

My coil cabels are worn out so I"m ordering a set from rockauto.com . I can get from the same seller this ACDELCO air filter: https://www.rockauto.com/en/moreinfo.php?pk=1022704&cc=1371620&jsn=6499 Is that comparable to the AEM? Since it will much more affordable since I already have to order from rockauto.

Ingnition cables I bought Deplhi(by markingks same as OEM). Just beware there are two lenghts(round or square coils, if you unsure buy the longer).

For Air filter I would suggest some reuseable(dry AEM, Airaid, KN), it is costly, but you dont pay shipping and customs for each air filter change.

Well since I can't find affordale coil cables in Europe, I want to order ALDELCO https://www.rockauto.com/en/moreinfo.php?pk=1140108&cc=1371620&jsn=10544 coil cables. Including the filter taxes and shipping I will pay €78 euro, is $95,75. Just wondering if a €60 filter including sending will be worth much more then the ALDELCO filter... De Airaid mit will have to wait till I've found a e-fan.
