02 denali needing some answers

i am going to be doing the big install of getting a DD player into my 02 yukon denali...i went to my local walmart where they have scosche Products for Auto Stereo installation...I am looking into not keeping my On-Star and Door Chimes if not needed...and just doing a straight up install on my truck..i have the Bose System on my Truck...What wiring shoud i get for my truck and what Mounting Kit should i get for the same truck..I am getting my DD Stereo in a few Days and need to go and pick up this stuff...I would really appreciate it if someone can answer my question....I have read tons of threads regarding this situation and some said that their truck wont even start without this GMOS-04 or something like that...do i need to purchase this also even though i dont want the on-star and Chimes..

wel first off if your going to doa dd install you will have to change the dash to accomidate it 02 was only din and a half and 03 is when they started using the radio tocommunicate but the harness you need is just a regular harness nothing special

your onstar wont work either. unless you have had the dealer upgrade. 02 had analog onstar. everything is digital now.

yeah,.my on-star is not upgraded so i dont mind loosing it...just doing nothing...the chimes i dont care about either..nothing more annoying anyhow..i was looking at the wire harnesses at walmart the other day and the part numbers there didnt have my vehicle listed so thats what i was asking..
