I'm sure this has been discussed many times but I seem to be getting conflicting info. I have the factory Bose system with CD changer slave unit in my 02 Yukon Denali. I'm planning on doing a DD conversion with an 03 dash bezel and radio cage. I want to keep the steering wheel controls, amp and Bose speakers and understand the OnStar is outdated and won't work, which I don't care about. The question I have is the harness(es). Is there an inexpensive solution? Metraonline.com lists a harness only but others show the Pas OS-1 Bose and a separate unit for the steering wheel controls, SW-1 RC. List for these 2 adapters is nearly $200. And I still need an antenna adapter and mount kit...any help on the wiring adapters from someone else with the 02 Bose system would be appreciated.

Since the OnStar no longer works because it uses an outdated signal, I went with the PAC ROEM-GM21A . It appears to be the same but without the OnStar module. I'm hoping it works, it was $32.94 on EBay. Thanks slick2500!

I talked to tech support at PAC yesterday and was assured this will work. Its the same as the OS-1-BOSE but without the OnStar module. I have everything pre-wired and ready to go. I should have it installed in the next couple of days, I'm just waiting on the '03 Denali dash bezel to arrive.

Update: got everything installed today, just need to do a little more to the HVAC control to make them fit better in the '03 dash bezel. The PAC ROEM-GM21A worked good. I just unplugged the OnStar button/ control center in the dash and will use that space for something else and left the plug from the factory HU unconnected. This was a slightly simpler way to connect the new HU. The steering wheel control worked so all is well. I really like the Sony XAV-602BT.
