02 yukon cam, intake, tune.

Hey TY family! I'm looking at these mods to put on the 02 yukon 5.3.
220r cam 112lsa, air-aid jr. tube, and tune.
I currently have borla Xr-1 exhaust.

Is a stall absolutely needed?
Can I still take the family on a long trip( say to Florida from Houston )?
Should I add headers also?
Where can I get the best competitive price for the parts needed?

More I would like to do but damn money start getting tall for heads and force induction. Thanks in advance

I would look at Circle D converters local shop off 290 bingle area, for a more aggressive stalled converter, Long tube headers will diff help. Either American racing or dyno techs ( do a google search), I would also add a upgraded tranny cooler. Doorman E-Fans ( 2005-2006 factory). Depending on your final drive gearing maybe some 3.73's and a Eaton ratchet locker, maybe a mild shift kit to the trans. What are you looking to get outta it? And what kinda of use? ( like towing or playing around) ?
